REFORM

Aimed at people who appreciate good music, reform recaptures the vibe of the early nineties when it was friendly, unpretentious and REAL, and the music was just PROPER HOUSE MUSIC

With all the commercialisation and splintering of house music over the years it was becoming more difficult to find a decent night out - so we set about doing it ourselves.

We dont use big name DJs because we know we can do it better ourselves. A bold statement, but 11 years of parties that just keep getting better year on year proves that. And many will say that a Reform party is the best party theyve EVER been to, and they just keep coming back for more. You cant buy that kind of loyalty - it comes from trust.

Most clubs aren’t holding the allure they once had, instead funseekers are favouring a more intimate ‘house-party’ vibe, best created by smaller collectives, in more unique and unusual venues. This is what reform has been quietly perfecting in the last 11 years.

If youre a seasoned campaigner and have lost faith in clubs and dance music, dont give up until youve tried a Reform party. If youre of the new generation, -with respect- you probably dont have a true sense of the underground house vibe, as the club scene today is floundering around in the dark looking for some kind of identity and direction. Since about 1995 the scene has been flooded with crap music, clubnights and DJs that pump out less-than-satisfactory fodder, churned out in the hope of cashing in on the dance music explosion, without any regard for quality control whatsoever.

The boom and bust of the commercial side of it was, lets face it, totally predictable. People will only put up with rubbish for so long. But all the while the true underground scene was quiety but consistently bubbling away in the background, always seeking out the best music, the most exciting venues the most intimate gatherings for the more discerning partygoer. Dont be shy, give us a try, you may not be able to put us down.

We’ve done parties in clubs, boats, football clubs, pubs, restaurants, in churches(!), in tents, in warehouses, at festivals, in the woods, in organic underground caves - some paying, some free. Making money has never been our primary objective - it’s about a love of what we do and it truly shows - that’s why it works time after time.

If you remember what it was that first hooked you on house music; where you were and what you were doing when those hypnotic house beats first grabbed you and irretrievably altered the course of your life - if you wish there was something that could do that to you again - then youve found what you were looking for - youve found REFORM.

REFORM seeks to put back everything that was stripped away. To filter only the best of the music available and seek the nicest possible crowd to appreciate it. To never settle for less than what we believe in. To remove the bad elements and replace them with good. To transform, to restore some quality to the dance scene and bring about change to make it a fulfilling experience again. To give a little more than is necessary. To go a little bit further. Our motto is simple, and we believe simple is best.

good music - good vibes - good times
